A wirled wing back

Talk about a chair that has had daily use for decades. This is one of'em. Time for a little attention. Pictures can't declare the weight of this practically built piece of furniture. No over engineering here!  All the staples and tacks removed.
The finished wood needs some cleaning up. One sure does not want to remove the "patina" but needs a good cleaning.
After an application of wood restorer.

The inside arms and wings and the wing and arm tops are all tailored pieces sewn together for tailoring to the frame. Sure was a challenge on this very special designed wing back.

A quick pic of the wing front .
And where the inside back meets the inside arm with the decking. All with cross strung pulls for a nice clean intercection.
And the seat cushion with slide pocket.

I I sure wouldn't forget to replace the double piping trim along the base.

A close up of the clean corners for the outside back.

Here the 4 pipings that set on the front of this chair.

Nice proud and straight smooth piping.

And the wing back ready to go home.
With a 20 inch throw pillow and full fitted arm covers not shown.

 Thanks for looking!
