Turkish Victorian Chairs Restoration

Oh, this king and queen, set of Moorish or Turkish chairs, arrived in the shop for a full restoration.

There sure was a lot of frame restoration work also.

The only wood frame was on the base itself. Everything else above that is iron tubing.

Call you call springs and tied.

With a coat of burlap on top and proper nosing, all hand sewn in.

This sure is some custom fabric with a extra large print to work up from a custom fabric house.
All the natural horse hair will be retained.
There is not a lot of information on how to rebuild these arms. It's gonna take some figuring to get it done proper.

Even all the traditional wedding has to be hands-on back in place.

As well as all the base burlap, all hand sewn onto the steel frames.

Oh, there is plenty of back springs to be handset, that's for sure.
Patience sure is a virtue on this pair of chairs.

As both chairs, have different arm, designs, and all handsewn lined on top of the horse hair and cotton.

Oh, this sure was a very challenging set for me, that's for sure!
