The lost couple

 Look at the clamps on this one.

Talk about a restorers nightmare.

 Busted out joints, broken dowels and sheet metal screws, long ones. In more than one intersection. The screw heads were ground off.

                         With a bent over front leg.  With more sheet metal screws. And lots of paper glue.

         Here is the piece restored. full arm covers. the re glued joints tightened up really solid.

                                Great simple practical home furnishings in this over engineered world.
