Identical twins

This couple was probably created around 1950.

That's almost 64 years ago.

Time to do a little restoration and put on a fabric of the owners choice.

 The chairs had 3 coats of upholstery fabric in some places.

All the tacks and staples removed as well.
All the exposed wood got a freshening up as well.

Hand tied the coil springs.

 With a fresh coat of traditional burlap.

 The stuffings inspected and tailored back up with a fresh coat of cotton.

 And lined with a thin fabric.

To have a nice tight base before adding another thin coat of cotton and the finish fabric.

 Rebuilt the inside backs, also.

 Fresh coat of cotton on the inside and outside backs.

 Time taken to tailor up the arm backs as well as piping trim along the outside backs.

And the completed set good to go for another 40.
