Waterfall Skirted Chair & Ottoman

Waterfall skirts are always a challenge.  I have done several pieces over the last years & the attached pillow top ottoman with the waterfall skirts are gonna keep me on my toes.

 This Scalmandre' fabric is of a fine quality.  With its texture and smooth field any flaws will jump right out.

The last workroom really got carried away with excessive amounts of extra long staples.
This frame & materials are all of 5 star quality.

Fresh cotton.

As the old upholstery is removed.

 The ottoman is all patterned and sewn together all at once before attachment to the frame. I can't afford any mistakes throughout this patterning and stitching process.
A very inexact science in action.

 These tabs will really worth the effort over the years.
