New Hampshire Upholstery Is An Art

This French Provincial really has a nice solid frame.
The owner put several coats of quality paint on the exposed woodand I pulled lots of staples to get a clean smooth stapling line.
The owners chose a black cotton fabric from Philadelphia.
I gave a number of 5 yards to get this job done.
Fresh coat of thin cotton throughout.

 Hand sewn deck to nosing.
With double piping throughout the staple line must be thin and constant.
A black dust liner is the right thing to do on the inside back and inside arms & wings.

X-ray vision sure comes in handy!

Lots of detail work with no room for mistakes.

The right amount of glue is sure important when applying the double piping trim.
The original seat cushion is a high end marshall unit (springs) with a wire frame edge with lots of life left in it.
 Complete & ready to serve.
